Candia was born in Union City,Tn and moved to Florida when she was sixteen. Once in Florida, she met her husband who is her inspiration for all her romance heroes. They have three children, two beautiful girls and a handsome son. They moved to Watertown, NY and now reside in Richlands, NC. When she is not writing, Candia can be found giving in to her addiction by playing World of Warcraft, running around the world of Azeroth with her family and other guildmates.
