Ruthie Toombs first novel, The Deviant Memoirs captured the "un-pretty" nature lurking inside us all. In her second novel, Feeding the Need, she shows us how even a perfect life can be shattered by the unexpected. Ruthie's third novel, a contemporary thriller, Outrun the Dark, is proof that even a psychopath with a big knife and a twisted agenda can't thwart true love.

She continues to create interest in her short stories, novels, blogs, and screenplays.
Ruthie moonlights as a sales and marketing representative. Her hobbies include adventure races, writing songs, and playing guitar. She spends free time with her daughter, Mattie, and their two dogs, Bubbles and C.J.
