Andrew Bone is a scientist, technical translator and author of fiction dealing with the history of science and environmental issues.
He was born in the UK, grew up in Australia, and spent most of his adult life travelling, learning languages, studying and writing in Europe.

His book 'Vitruvian Boy' is set in various parts and times of Europe, tracing the fascinating course of human development along the motif of man's undoubtedly peculiar relationship to the concept of infinity. It is designed to make readers laugh themselves into a state of learning.
