It means that the air I breathe is the air that others breathe and the air I must respect by the choices I make. It means that water and soil are what give life and that I am but a part of the great intricate oneness of all that is. It means knowing that seeds and wildlife and winds and evolution have their own wisdom. Just as my ancestors listened, watched, and learned when to plant and when to harvest, I too feel a tug to listen.
