Caroline Berg has held many interesting jobs, most recently holding the title of Senior Quest Designer on an MMORPG.

When not working on video games, she makes narrative heavy indie board games and RPGs.

Many of her games are based on Sci-Fi stories, fairy tales, mythology, and history. Which are, not surprisingly, her favorite genres to read. This can be seen with her board games Idunn's Apples; and Everything Except Air, a game about making it back to your spaceship after being abandoned on Mars. Recognizing Racism in Myths and Fairy Tales

I love fairy tales, mythology, epic fantasy stories. But many of them are, at their heart, very racist. And sometimes it is best to take a step back, look at the tales from a different perspective, and realize that what happens in them is not OK.
