Additionally, JoAnna has been happily married to her husband, Dr. Greg Oblander for over 37years. She is the mother of 6 children, two of whom were adopted from Russia and the grandmother of 17 and counting grandchildren. She is a born leader and has been involved in several leadership positions. She has been a lead organizer of a large women’s event and has a special place in her heart for working with children. She has been involved in various businesses as owner or co-owner for most of her adult life. Currently, in addition to her writing and work as a motivational speaker, she also works with her husband in his chiropractic office as a life and health coach. As a recipient of the healing power of alternative healthcare, she is a perennial student of nutrition and natural healing methods. At present, she is studying to become certified in the Body Code and to become a master herbalist.

Her favorite pastimes are dating her husband, serving as a playmate to her grandchildren, camping and boating with her family and developing her artistic talents.
