Hello, I’m Miles. I live in Devon with my wife, children, and cats. I’ve sold houses, fought fires, and even played the part of a postman in a German film. (Yes, really.)

On the words front, I’ve contributed features, reviews, and interviews to the likes of Total Film, SFX, XBox World, SciFiNow, Horrorville, plus loads more. I’ve also written copy on subjects such as holiday insurance, food packaging, and, er, pig farming.

I also play bass guitar (references available).

Now I’ve written a novel. My comedy time travel caper Dad to the Future was first published in 2024. It’s the first in a series revolving around the time-travelling Bill Lambert and his friends, the Harpman family.

Absolutely delightful retrospective puff piece with an exhausting array of bts pics, merch, instruments, and trivia. Overly celebratory, and skims over the lows? Sure. But as a fan, this is still right up my Acacia Avenue. Up the Irons!
