Chanel Earl is a Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominated writer of short fiction and essays. She has an MFA in creative writing from Brigham Young University, where she teaches writing to undergraduates. Her stories and essays have appeared in such publications as Smokelong Quarterly, Granfalloon, The Account, and Wayfare Magazine. In addition to reading and writing, she also loves eating, gardening, repurposing old into new, and spending time with her husband and four children.

This is a great introduction to good communication practices. I think I will use this in my technical writing class. I do wish it went deeper at times, but really (it points this out) you have to learn through experiences, not just reading books.

I really enjoyed this book! I thought the characters were fun while still seeming very real. I love a tall heroine. And the balance between drama and romance was nice.

This book has a lot of great information about understanding numbers in text. I enjoyed it. It was a quick read. I do think that it could be a little bit more concise, but the review sections also helped me remember the content, so maybe they are oka ...more

My son really wanted me to read this. It has some good characters. I can see why he likes it. And the art is excellent. I imagine it was hard to be consistent with the different dragon pictures and make sure they all looked right all the time.
