I've been in love with books since I was a small child. Those beautiful storybooks opened up a whole new world for me. Then when I could read them on my own, wow, I was off and running. I read everything I could get my hands on. All these years later I still read every chance I get.

I have four ebooks available on Amazon. Of those, three can be read for free via Kindle Unlimited.

"Bayou Blues and Other Sorrows" is a collection of short stories and poems about life and the many issues all of us may face at one time or another. The stories and poems range from lost love to life changing decisions to moments of pure joy.

New Year's Eve

I haven't posted on my blog in ages. Now it's New Year's Eve 2024. Not sure what 2025 will bring. I'm hoping for peace, but not likely. Anyway, I've been reading lots and lots of books this year, 77 of them. That's the advantage of being retired. I'm not going to list them all here, though you can see them on my Goodreads page. In the meantime, here are a few books that really stand out.
