Diego Arboleda (1976, Stockholm), he graduated in Hispanic Philology at the Autonomous University of Madrid.

Ganó en dos ocasiones el Premio de Cuentos Ilustrados Ciudad de Badajoz junto a la ilustradora Eugenia Ábalos, con quien ha publicado en Anaya La bufanda más grande del mundo y Fantasmada. En 2012 obtuvo el Premio Lazarillo de creación literaria por su obra Prohibido leer a Lewis Carroll, libro con el que ganaría el Premio Nacional de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil en 2014. En colaboración con el ilustrador Raúl Sagospe, además de Prohibido leer a Lewis Carroll, también ha publicado Mil millones de tuberías, Aventuras en espiral, Papeles arrugados, Los descazadores de especies perdidas y Elio.
