Gill Staden taught maths in secondary schools in Nigeria, Botswana and Zambia before launching her career as a travel writer. Based in Livingstone, Zambia, for over 20 years, she explored the national parks and wildlife sanctuaries in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Botswana and is now the editor of the Livingstone Weekly, an electronic newsletter that covers travel and tourism news in the region. She is a regular contributor to Africa Travel Magazine and eTurboNews, an online news service for the global travel and tourism industry.
