Living in Louisville, Ky., Karson Dickinson has a BFA in Creative Writing from Spalding University, and she plans to one day get her MFA. In her free time, she cuddles her five rescue pets (one American Bully, and four cats!), and hosts two book clubs. Literature is her life, and she hopes to make even a small amount of change with her own writing.

5 stars. holy shit. HOLY SHIT. that was so good. blew my expectations away. i’m literally so shook like WHAT. the relationship between thatcher and thais was so beautiful—my favorite part of the story. DYING for part two.

5 stars. HOLY SHIT THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!! the tension….. oh my god. there were a few plot holes and i was not a fan of the epilogue, but hot damn i ate this up! so good!

5 stars. what an amazing way to start the year. I LOVED this book so much. it was emotionally rich, and the suspense was perfect. i will read anything alex north writes!

1 star. DNF. the writing was god awful, and within 100 pages i absolutely despised the main character. IDIOT ASSASSIN. she walked into three traps… aelin would never.
