Kelly Killian was born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a small town that is most historically noted for a flood that devastated the city in 1889. She is most interested in writing stories that include realistic situations and memorable characters. She likes her creations to be a difficult-to-put-down fun escape from reality.

Kelly is a fan of fun romantic movies like Sweet Home Alabama and How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days. Her favorite authors include Kristan Higgins, Sophie Kinsella and Jill Mansell. Her favorite series to date is the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich.

When she is not reading or writing in her spare time, Kelly can be found spending time with her husband, her dog and her two cats.
