Jay Taylor grew up in rural Southern Illinois. He was encouraged to be creative by his mother, Sherry, who had her own art studio and taught various art classes. His father, Donald, taught him the value of hard work and independence by being an example as a business owner and a coal miner.
Throughout his childhood and into his adult life he has created stories, worlds and characters that others enjoyed. Whether it was leading a role playing game or scratching down a short story, he always found a way to let others share the worlds he imagined.
He is the proud father of three children and the fortunate husband of Kimberly. He currently lives in Northern California.

Jay Taylor Book 2, The War Of Majick, is progression. Nihara has her faction of elves in a forest and she has made her way to the lands of the Centaurs. She has the challenge of convincing them to help her defend their land. Why is it a challenge? Because Centaurs have long memories and the elves used the Centaurs as beasts of burdens and slaves. (I am having a great time writing this book!)

An Exciting and Intriguing Read!!!

I was drawn in by this book almost immediately... As I followed the story line full of great adventures, mystical creatures, unlikely allies, and betrayal... I was only left wanting more. A great beginning to what is sure to be a great series...I can not wait for book two in this series.
