Thanks, Duitch. Not only do we have similar tastes, but we had "similar friends," too -- Douglas was a beloved friend of mine, as well. I once flew all the way to London just to have dinner with him after he coaxed Gary Brooker of Procol Harum (whom we both adored from afar but had never met) to join us for the meal. I miss Douglas terribly, and I'm sure you do, too.

We have similar tastes, Christopher! Douglas Adams was a much beloved friend of mine, and if you have not read "Last Chance To See", you might like it. When I told him that it was my favorite of his books, a bit shamefacedly since everyone always raves over the other, he banged the table and said "Me, TOO!". Can't get a much better recommendation than that, lol.
