Siegmund Ginzberg è nato a Istanbul nel 1948 in una famiglia ebrea giunta a Milano negli anni Cinquanta. I nonni furono sudditi dell'impero ottomano. Dopo gli studi in filosofia ha intrapreso l'attività giornalistica ed è stato una delle storiche firme de "l'Unità".

Siegmund Ginzberg was born in Istanbul in 1948 into a Jewish family who moved to Milan in the 1950s. His grandparents were subjects of the Ottoman Empire. After studying philosophy, he turned to journalism and has long been a contributor to "l'Unità", the newspaper which he has worked extensively as a correspondent.
