Born – Charleston SC, 1941
Home of Record – Miami Florida although Robert lived in many places in the country including Hawaii and Greece being raised in a career US Coast Guard family.
Served in the Coast Guard in the early 60’s as a Radioman, Robert’s duty stations included North Atlantic International Ice Patrols, Antarctic Ice Breaking Expedition, and Aids to Navigation duty aboard a Coast Guard Buoy Tender out of Rockland Maine before his discharge in 1964.
Attended College on the GI Bill, and completed a long productive 37 year career with Honeywell Inc. involved in Aerospace and Defense projects , until his retirement in 2001. Major projects included work with NASA on Space Shuttle and Space Station programs.
