Mayhem in Eagle Cove by Logan Bahr
A well-written book by Logan Bahr. It starts off when Rich Bell gets too friendly with a monkey in his care. He opens the cage against the rules and is attacked. Unknown to the buyers, the monkeys were not bred in captivity, and the delivery was one monkey short. The Cambodian cartel will stop at nothing to cover their illegal activity. Before the book ends, the cartel that delivered the illegal animals murders witnesses and burns the home of the plant manager. Detective Larry is on the case.
