Travis Giles is a Virginia-based author with a deep love for Appalachian folklore, haunted history, and the quiet strangeness of forgotten places. His writing blends fiction with true regional legends, exploring the blurred lines between grief, memory, and the supernatural.

He is the author of The Haint of Greenbrier, a gothic ghost story inspired by the real-life legend of Zona Heaster Shue, and Directed by John Hughes, a personal, nostalgic journey through heartbreak and VHS-era storytelling. Both books are part of the Mediocre Book Anthology, a loosely connected series grounded in real towns, real myths, and real feelings.
