Fusako Shigenobu (Japanese: 重信 房子, romanized: Shigenobu Fusako; IPA: [ɕiɡe̞no̞bɯ̟ ɸɯ̟sa̠ko̞]; born September 28, 1945) is a Japanese communist activist, writer, and the founder and leader of the now-disbanded militant group Japanese Red Army (JRA).

She became involved in revolutionary movements during the 1960s, participating in the protests against the US War in Vietnam, as well as the student struggles against tuition hikes. In February 1971, she left Japan for the Arab world. Initially volunteering with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), she went on to co-found the Japanese Red Army in 1974.
