Carson Gardner grew up in rural Southern Utah, where he never enjoyed more than one wife at a time. As a child in a rural area, Carson had little else to do, but bask in the confines of his own imagination as well as the imaginations of others. When he grew up, Carson did adult things (graduate from college, raise kids, etc.) until he realized that the child in him still wanted to write. He still loved vampires, zombies, and the unknown. Thus, he fashioned the first book in his fantasy apocaplyptic saga, The Revenant Fire, and quickly began writing the second.

Now, Carson Gardner lives with his soon to be wife, a few kids, and, as is the case with all authors, a dog. He writes at every opportunity.

This is . . . well, no idea.

My heart was in my throat. She was on the edge and I knew there wasn’t much I could do to keep her from going over. I took a step closer. “Lola, sweetheart. Let’s go down now. Maybe we can go hiking tomorrow.” She just stared blankly down at the waves crashing below. I could tell she was coked out again. The haze was on her face along with the spray of the Pacific.
