Hey Jim, you might gain some handy tips about 'selling' your book from Lindsay Buroker (she's a fellow author on Goodreads). She has some fantastic blog entries about how she (and other indy authors) have successfully managed to sell their books, I mean Lindsay is currently selling quite a number of books from her two series... (I wish she'd hurry up with book #4!) Might be worth a look.
