Growing up a latchkey in the 1980s, in the heart of Jersey City, NJ, Will was raised by pop culture. He-Man made Will believe he had the power. And Spielberg encouraged him to seek adventure. So, in his youth Will’s Huffy became an X-Wing and the abandoned factory on his city block became the Death Star. And as his own 1980 coming-of-age story entered its denouement, Will’s love of media had him longing to entertain.

Years before Will wrote his first book, he pursued acting, training at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (alongside Peter Dinklage), at Bill Esper Studios (New York) and with Olympia Dukakis.
