Sònia Meseguer Alcaine nació en Barcelona el 21 de marzo de 1998. Es el fenómeno «libro y mantita» en persona y no encontraréis a nadie que sea más fan de Harry Potter. Mientras esperaba a que le pusieran su nombre a un hechizo, decidió empezar Traducción e Interpretación para hacer tiempo, porque traducir una saga de éxito era su sueño desde los quince años. Pero, tras tanto trasladar las palabras de otros, decidió que ya era hora de inventar sus propias historias.

En 2023 publicó La lista de deseos de Ethan J. Goldman, y, cuando no está pensando en conversaciones imaginarias u olvidando el color de ojos de sus propios personajes al escribir, disfruta hablando de sus novelas en su cuenta de Instagram (@smalcaine).
