Helen Billett is a Canadian artist and writer whose work explores themes of resilience, transformation, and healing.

Born in Mississauga and raised in Bramalea (Brampton), her love for books was first nurtured at the Brampton Public Library’s Chinguacousy Branch, where she worked during high school. She went on to study Art History and Studio Art at the University of Western Ontario, gaining early experience in commercial art galleries before transitioning into Digital Media Design. This path led her to become a Senior Web Designer at Canada’s largest bookstore, where she combined her creative and technical skills.

After the birth of her second child—a daughter followed by a son—Helen stepped away from the corporate world to focus on raisin
