Stephanie Shamblin is the fantasy author behind the debut series Legends of Worldbinders. She writes slow-burn fantasy romance filled with ancient magic, fire-breathing dragons, terrifying creatures, and deliciously bantering love interests.

When she’s not writing, Stephanie is spending time with her husband and two daughters—or getting lost in a good book with a Dr. Pepper in one hand and french fries in the other. She’s also been known to sneak in a few late-night Fortnite matches (and take them a little too seriously).

She loves Jesus, storytelling, and all things fantasy.

“The smaller one whimpered, "Please, my queen, we will lay down our arms. We will not hurt another soul." Arenna's gaze hardened. "No, you will not," she said with an eerie calm. She looked them both in the eyes, seeing the fear, perhaps even a trace of awe. After a long, weighted moment, she said, "And I am not your queen." Her flame devoured them whole.”

“Never." Kayson grinned, the expression utterly wicked an feral. "Burn them all," he said, glancing at Arenna. She snapped open her hands, flames instantly sparking within her palms. "Bury them after.”
Stephanie Shamblin, A Queen's Betrayal

“She damned the consequences and pushed her flames harder. There wasn't an inch of her that wasn't covered in red, orange, and gold as she sent wave after wave of fire toward their enemies. Bodies burned, creatures turned to ash. Steel melted; shields perished. She was a plague of her own, ripping through everyone in her path with no guilt at all. She came to conquer, and she would not call back her power until every single soldier was dead or until she burned out. Whichever came first.”
