Kate O Lynch was born and raised in Dallas, TX, where she currently resides. For as long as she can remember she dreamt of writing a book. As a child she went so far as to take a section of a square notepad that was bound on one side to church with her; and while she was supposed to be listening, she would make up stories to write out on the pages of the notepad. Because of the binding, it actually looked like a book.

As a child Kate also loved to read, from her early years through high school. After four years of reading all of the “classics,” she attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas where she majored in English. Happy Birthday Mom

Happy Birthday Mom! What I wouldn’t give to be able to say that to you one more time. For all of us to gather together at your house for dinner with all of your grandkids running around playing and one of us girls trying to last minute fix the meal so we could eat at the scheduled time. Followed by you starting to clean up as soon as everyone has finished eating.
