I used to be a lawyer, but please don't hold that against me. In 1994, I started a career as a stand-up comedian and impressionist and have since appeared on numerous TV and radio shows, including my own series on BBC Radio 4. What, you've never heard of me? I like to think it's because I'm always doing other people's voices. There may be other reasons. My novel, Song In The Wrong Key, is a romantic comedy with the emphasis on the latter. It's available to download on Goodreads and on Kindle and will be out in paperback on April 2. I love contemporary UK and US fiction, especially stuff shot through with humour. Smart, sharp and zeitgeisty. It zips along and poses some challenging questions. Nothing is fully resolved but this is a book that specifically avoids pat conclusions. Hugely enjoyable.
