Persephone Abbott lives in Amsterdam. She is the author of Idle Opportunities and Ein rasch gesponnenes netz. In 2024 she re-released her father's 1985 comic novel Mordecai of Monterey.

In an epic trip in the summer of 2024, Persephone blogged about her father's missing archival materials and retracing the family trauma that she experienced. The blog can be found at: www.persephoneabbott.com

Persephone is delighted that one of her poems was selected for the 2025 publication Unique Minds, An Anthology of Art, Poems and Stories by Austitic Creatives.
