Profesor asociado del Departamento de Estudios Hispánicos de la Universidad de Puerto Rico en Cayey. En 2009 obtuvo su doctorado en Literatura Española en la Universidad de Puerto Rico, recinto de Río Piedras. Ha publicado reseñas y artículos en revistas académicas y periódicos. Como actor forma parte del elenco del colectivo Teatro Breve. Su novela El papel de lija obtuvo el accésit en el Premio Alba Narrativa 2011.
