Born in the small town of Albemarle, North Carolina, Bob has been the Voice of Duke football and basketball for 37 years and also hosts the Duke coaches' TV shows.

His Duke sports announcing career has spanned 11 NCAA Men's Basketball Final Fours, nine championship game appearances and FOUR national titles. He has called more than 1,200 Duke basketball and more then 400 consecutive Duke football games in his career. Bob is entering his fifth decade in radio sportscasting.
