Financial literacy for kids

Sure, I have a strong financial background so I understand the basic concepts, but that didn’t motivate me to write children’s books to improve children’s financial literacy.

Initially, I looked for ways to give my grandkids an appreciation and understanding of money. Now I see a bigger issue. The newest generation is missing out of a strong financial education.

I’ve seen kids with no concept of the value of money. They’re given money but don’t know how hard it is to come by. They toss money on the counter but don’t know how much it is relative to how much they want to buy. They believe that debit cards are “easy” money and they don’t grasp the real cost of credit cards.
