Hi Steven! Welcome to Goodreads. What kind of books are you interested in? There are groups for pretty much every taste. Join a group or two and participate. It's a great way to meet people, learn about new books and authors etc.

To warm up you might start listing books you've read recently enough to rate and/or recommend to other friends on GoodReads.

As an author and an avid reader, I know I appreciate helpful reviews and ratings, but instead of directing you to my books in particular, I would recommend you chose books from the genre you like best.

If you are, however, a murder/mystery buff, I have four novels available on the GoodReads lists: THICK AS THIEVES, SIGN OF THE DRAGON, UNREASONABLE PERSUASION, and UNHOLY ALLIANCE.

At the moment, instead of reading, I'm polishing my fifth novel, THEATER OF THE CRIME. These are all 1940s era, Seattle mysteries, based on real historical events and crimes. Think of Raymond Chandler visiting Seattle...
