Mireia Pérez nació el 9 de junio de 1984 en Valencia. Comenzó a dibujar tebeos para sus compañeros de clase y con quince años comenzó a publicar en espacios digitales sus primeras ilustraciones, siendo una de las pioneras en esta rama artística en la red de sitios web españoles.
Cursó estudios de Bellas Artes en la Facultad de San Carlos de Valencia, especializándose en cinematografía y dibujo. Compaginó sus estudios con el diseño gráfico, trabajando en diversas empresas por cuenta propia. Entre otros trabajo desarrollados en este ámbito, destacaron la imagen y el catálogo de las tres útimas ediciones del Festival de Investigación Artística Observatori de Valencia.
