“The chances that all the billions of things required for life on Earth would line up, just by chance, are just not possible. Think of all the things you would need, a planet at just the right distance from the sun, in a stable orbit, with a habitable atmosphere and water, and a hospitable climate. The planet would need to have the resources so that if by chance humans could magically develop, that they could build the advanced society that we have. The odds of that happening are so astronomically impossible that you would have better luck opening the box on a brand new 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle and dumping the box off a roof and having all the pieces land in the form of a completed puzzle. Then look at the fact that there were over 300 prophecies about the Christ that were made hundreds of years before he was born that all came true. The chances that they all would come true in one person are ridiculously minuscule. As a scientist, I look at those two things and must conclude that there had to be a creator and Jesus must be the Christ.”
Christopher Coates, The Resurrection Wager
