Like most people Tom Heil has been on a life journey with many twists and turns. He was born in a small town in rural Ohio before moving to the big city to attend the University of Toledo. At University he studied Computer Science and Engineering, a new field at the time, and was very active in church and campus ministry. After much soul searching, he decided to follow a call into full-time ministry. Although he graduated with an engineering degree, this decision essentially closed the door on that career.
