Frann Leach lives in Edinburgh, Scotland and is interested in all aspects of natural health, including aromatherapy, herbal medicine and dietary approaches. A bit of a greeny, she's also into New Age stuff like The Secret, motivational quotations as well as organic gardening.

Frann finished all the science fiction books in Camden public library in 1964 and had to branch out into fantasy for her reading material, although she was already a huge fan of J.R.R. Tolkien. At that time, most fantasy was just a pale shadow of Tolkien's work, but in recent years there has been a great deal of innovative work in this field, and she appreciates the work of Jacqueline Carey, George R.R.
