Jessica Goecke (she/her) is a writer, illustrator, and graphic designer. She is a 2023 PB Rising Stars mentee and recipient of SCBWI’s Don Freeman grant. She lives just outside Seattle with her husband, two kids and miniature schnauzer, Duke.
Jessica has always been a storyteller. As a child she busied herself with writing poetry and music; as a taller child, she went to college to write screenplays and learn about film; but it was when she became a parent that she rediscovered a passion for children’s books. She was fascinated that such a small format could house such big experiences.
