Katherine Hoerth teaches English and writing at the University of Texas Pan American. She is the author of three poetry books: two chapbooks titled Among the Mariposas (Mouthfeel Press, 2010) and The Garden of Dresses(Mouthfeel Press, 2012), and a full collection titled The Garden Uprooted (Slough Press, 2012). Her work has been published in journals including Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review, Front Porch, Boxcar, Hawai'i Pacific Review, and Mezzo Cammin: A Journal of Formalist Women's Poetry. She serves as Assistant Poetry Editor of Fifth Wednesday Journal.
