Rodolfo Naró nació en Tequila, Jalisco en 1967, ciudad en la que vivió hasta los 12 años de edad. Estudió Ciencias de la Comunicación con enfoque hacia el periodismo escrito. En el 2000 obtuvo la beca Jóvenes Creadores del Fonca y en el 2006 su primera novela El orden infinito fue finalista del Premio Planeta. Cállate niña (2011), es su novela reciente.

Como poeta ha escrito los libros: Los días inútiles, Año de gracia, Alburemas, Amor convenido, Del rojo al púrpura, Árbol de la vida, El principio y El antiguo olvido, compilados en Poesía convenida (1986–2007), editados en México y Argentina.

Es columnista ocasional de algunos periódicos y autor del blog La columna chueca.
