While raising two teenaged daughters and a young son with his wife, Gregg A. Granger was inspired to change course. In 2003, Gregg and his family boarded their sailboat, purchased for this purpose and with slight previous sailing experience, and spent the next 4 1/2 years sailing around the world.
Gregg is gifted with his hands–a requirement for such a venture–and managed to keep s/v Faith operational during that time.
Prior to this journey, Gregg spent a number of years in the construction industry as a carpenter, superintendent, and contractor. He holds a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences and a Masters of Labor and Industrial Development, both from Michigan State University.
