As a child in a fundamentalist, polygamist cult, I was indoctrinated with beliefs that prevented me from knowing and understanding my true worth and potential. Deep within me I knew the life that I had been told had God pre-destined for me, was not the life I was meant to live.

At the age of seventeen I left everything I knew and began a new life in a world she had been told was evil and taught my entire life to fear. What I found instead was joy.

Overcoming the pain I felt in what is how recognized as Religious Trauma Syndrome, is the process I share with my readers, audiences and clients.
