Four friends, Daz, Eve, Oli and Ebony, meet at a fairground, but what appears to be an ordinary bonfire night couldn’t be further from the truth. One fairground ride throws them into a very different dimension, where they set off on an unexplainable adventure that is completely out of this world. Four friends become two upon passing through the first gate: lovable Daz, a sixteen-year-old boy with a big appetite and a small IQ, and Eve, who is more down to earth, with a mature head on her young shoulders.

Follow them on their adventures as they embark on an incredible journey through the star signs of the zodiac. Aries is a volcanic community, with exotic Roman baths and a captivating fête. But all is not as it seems, and one by one its hidden secrets are unveiled. Cancer is alive with the hustle and bustle of its marketplace, and full of peculiar characters. Daz finds himself a new companion in Shai, a stowaway from Aries. Naturally enticed by the community, Daz gets lost in the crowd, leaving Eve and her newfound friend Wilton - one of Cancer’s inhabitants - to find him. From there they travel to Leo, where Ashmen and lions reside in anything but harmony. The Ashmen are the dark dwellers who skulk underground and live for the darkness, while the lions roam freely. Things begin to heat up in Leo as white and black, good and evil, collide. They each fight for ultimate power, but what has happened to Eve? She is nowhere to be found, and Daz and Shai are left to face the next star sign alone…
