Prozator, traducător. Absolvent al Facultăţii de Filologie a Universităţii „Al. I. Cuza” din Iaşi. Redactor al revistei „Tomis” (1993 – 1999); în prezent redactor şef al revistei ”Amphion.”

Debutează cu versuri în „Amfiteatru” (1972). Colaborează la: „Alma Mater”, „Amfiteatru”, „Tribuna”, „Luceafărul”, „România literară”, „Vatra”, „Euphorion”, „Tomis”, „Orizont”, „Cronica”, „Contrapunct”, „Convorbiri literare”, „Art Panorama”, „Observator” (München), „archenoah”, „Familia” ş.a. Debutul editorial şi-l face cu volumul colectiv „Caiet de poezie”, apărut în urma concursului Editurii Eminescu, în 1973. Este cuprins cu proză scurtă în antologia de proză contemporană „Vânzătorul de enigme” (Constanţa, Editura Europolis şi Revista „Tomis”, 1993); „G Prozator, traducător. Publică interviuri în volumele: „Convorbiri pontice” de Ovidiu Dunăreanu (Editura Ex Ponto, 1998) şi „Starea literaturii” – convorbiri de Nicolae Rotund (Editura Ex Ponto, 1998).

PREMII LITERARE: Premiul revistei „Tribuna” pentru proză (Cluj 1986); Premiul pentru proză al Filialei „Dobrogea” a Uniunii Scriitorilor şi al Revistei „Tomis’„ pentru romanul „La inima fermecată”, 1995; Premiul Sudului (1998) pentru volumul de proză scurtă „Salonul refuzaţilor.”

Membru al Uniunii Scriitorilor din România, Filiala „Dobrogea”, din anul 1990 şi al ASPRO, din anul 1999.
