I noticed you're a big Murakami guy. I've been hearing a lot about him. Where would I start if I wanted to read some of him?"
I haven't read alot of Murakami, but I highly recommend his early works, 'Wild Sheep Chase' and 'Dance, Dance, Dance' (the sequel). More recently, people say good things about 'The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle' which will be the next I read..
Japanese in translation my favorite is Junichiro Tanazaki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jun'...
One of my favorite authors of all time..
