Born in 1975, studied at the Jagielonnian University in Cracow. After graduation started cooperation with a daily “Dziennik Polski” and a monthly „Spotkania z zabytkami”. In a column for this journals he published historical texts.

His first book – Zbaraż 1649 – came out in 2004, after three years the second one - Cecora 1620, in 2009 the third one - Wojowie i grody. Słowiańskie Barbaricum, in 2011 Czarna kawaleria. Bojowy szlak pancernych Maczka, in 2012 - Cichociemni. Elita polskiej dywersji and in 2013 - Odwaga straceńców. Polscy bohaterowie wojny podwodnej.

The author lives in Krakow with his wife Joan and son Jacob.
