Suzanne Lay was a “service brat” born in Munich Germany who roamed with her military family around the world. She loved being surrounded by the stories of warriors, the longing for homes far away and the speculation on the next assignments. Her first published work as a child was for the Stars and Stripes military newspaper, entitled “Toes…. Her, dare we say mature work, includes short works in literary magazines and as a reviewer for Linworth Press and Library Journal. She has been surprised to find herself living in the South, but delighted with the stories and people she has come to know.
