“Life is a conundrum of events and happenstance sometimes that only seems to make sense as time goes on to reveal the truths to our often reluctant and hazy minds.”
Eliza Player, Heroin, Hurricane Katrina, and the Howling Within: An Addiction Memoir

Eliza Player, Heroin, Hurricane Katrina, and the Howling Within: An Addiction Memoir

“Sometimes, looking at the world through the eyes of a junkie is much like watching television; you see what is going on in the story but you are often completely detached from the situation as if you were merely watching a bunch of actors on a set.”
