Like Kate Sachs, the protagonist of my novel, Deadly Play,  I know what it’s like to be a struggling actress, having appeared on stage and in dozens of soap operas and movies as an extra.

Unlike Kate, I never landed a starring role on television, so to make a living, I started a consulting firm specializing in training (with a theatrical flair!) and corporate communications. But that gypsy in my soul, as a friend dubbed my creative muse, was only in hiding. She popped out one day and refused to leave me alone. Deadly Play is the result of her persistence.

I live in New England with my husband and daughter, and am working on a sequel to Deadly Play. 

Creative Inspiration - One Thing Leads To Another

The idea to write a suspense series about a struggling young actress grew out of my own experiences trying to make it as an actress in New York City. I dreamed of acting in plays by Shakespeare and Chekhov.
