Carrie Crain worked as a freelance writer having entertainment and travel stories published in Austin Monthly and the Austin American-Statesman, as well as investigative journalism stories about celebrities published in TV Guide Magazine/Life&Style/US Weekly. Prior, she worked as an outside sales representative for Gannett Company, Inc. increasing their online real estate advertisement revenue. Previous to joining the newspaper, she worked as a technical writer for a national marketing and advertising company reporting to the CEO. Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma and has studied screenwriting and creative writing in fiction at UCLA.
